Reporting Concerns

If you believe that a child or adult has suffered or is in immediate risk of suffering significant harm you must contact police immediately by dialling “999”.

Our Safeguarding Commitment

NOAH is committed to:

Safeguarding is carried out within the framework set out in the Care Act 2014 Social Service, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 and other associated statutory and best practice guidance.

We liaise closely and openly with statutory agencies to ensure all concerns or allegations of abuse that are raised are promptly reported and responded to, victims supported and perpetrators held to account.

Our safeguarding policies and procedures reflect those of the local authorities in which we operate.

Anyone who brings concerns or allegations to the notice of NOAH will be responded to sensitively, respectfully and seriously in a timely manner. In line with the Public Disclosures Act of 1998, anyone with a safeguarding concern may report such concern made in good faith without fear of repercussion.

The Board of Trustees is ultimately responsible for the development and effective implementation of all safeguarding policies and procedures.
