Ahmad's Story

Ahmad’s Story.
In Ahmad’s own Words.

I don’t speak English. I don’t have god work. I want to work as a driver. I don’t have a driving licence. I don’t speak to my neighbours. I don’t speak at the supermarket

In Ahmad’s own words:

Describe the barriers that you faced prior to coming to NOAH

I don’t speak English. I don’t have god work. I want to work as a driver. I don’t have a driving licence. I don’t speak to my neighbours. I don’t speak at the supermarket

Describe what you liked the most about the course with NOAH.

First, I like this because I speak with people because teacher very good. Understand what do I want. Second, I happy because I’m here. I want more lessons.

How has the course improved your confidence, self-esteem and motivation.

Before I could understand 30%. Now I understand 100%. I can speak a little better now at the supermarket and doctor than before.

Through our talented and dedicated staff and volunteers, NOAH have the privilege of working with a great many inspiring people, and you’ll see some of their stories within this Strategic Plan. None of this work would be possible without the support of our community, our partners, and our funders – a huge thank you to each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts, for affording NOAH the privilege of doing the work that we do.
