Lloyd has had a long career in senior leadership roles, many related to sports. He held two director posts for Sport England, worked on the bid for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and was CEO of the Sports and Leisure professional Institute. Lloyd established team BEDS&LUTON – a Sports, Physical Activity and Wellbeing Charity in 2005 which he ran until his retirement in 2020. He is a family man, Devonian by birth and enjoys reading, golf and cycling. Lloyd became Chair of NOAH Board of Trustees in November 2022.
