Learners from Bedford or Central Beds can access course in both areas.


IT FOR WORK AND LIFE
This course starts completely ‘from scratch’, and teaches simple steps to help learners to use IT effectively to support them either in their personal lives or in their search for work.
Course content: Creating a document/ CV, email, the internet/ search engines, uploading and attaching documents, use of Google Drive and Universal Credit

When: >Sessions run on Tuesdays and Fridays 09:45 – 12:45 for four weeks

CREATIVE CONFIDENCE FOR WORK AND LIFE
An introduction to art and craft through a series of one session projects.

Course content: The programme is designed to support learners to grow through learning new skills, developing their creativity and meeting new people

When: Tuesdays for five weeks 13:30 – 16:30

MOVING TOWARDS WORK 

Build your confidence, wellbeing and employability skills through ‘positive psychology’ after a period out of the workplace.

Course content:

• Confidence building
• Interactive sessions with businesses
• Help to identify your unique skills and talents
• Support with next steps including employment pathways and volunteering

When: Thursdays and Fridays with a choice of morning or afternoon sessions available
Where: Dunstable – venue TBC
