Outreach Worker (Housing First)
Based: Luton town centre
Salary: £24,138 plus essential car user allowance
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
We are looking for an Outreach Worker to join our Luton Housing First Project. We have developed a specialist service which supports people who have experienced years of sleeping outside on the streets of Luton. We help them find somewhere safe to live and then give them intensive support, as much as they need to settle in their home. This might mean seeing people every day. Our aim is to provide guidance, encouragement and advocacy to help enable movement away from a lifestyle of rough sleeping towards a better future.
We need someone who cares for people who have experienced serious trauma and are therefore at higher risk of abandoning or being evicted from a home.
At NOAH you will experience a fantastic team environment full of learning and support. You will need to be determined and resilient, and enthused about the opportunity to create equity in society.
Working for NOAH comes with the following great benefits:
- Access to our employee assistance programme
- Life assurance policy
- Discounted Luton gym membership
- Annual leave entitlement rising by 1 day per year after 2 years up to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays
- Excellent training and continuous professional development
- Monthly group reflective practice
