Head of Finance

Based: Luton
Salary: £42,000 – £47,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Could you head up our Finance Team and work with us to offer hope and support to people struggling against homelessness and exclusion across Bedfordshire.

We are recruiting for a Head of Finance to join our Senior Management Team. The role reports directly into the CEO and represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the charity in terms of effective financial control and contract management and have a real impact on the work we do to offer hope and support to people struggling against homelessness and exclusion.

The Head of Finance will lead, facilitate and ensure the implementation of the finance strategy to deliver financial sustainability and will have responsibility for financial governance and compliance matters and for setting up systems for financial control, effective planning, monitoring and evaluation. NOAH has an annual turnover of c£2m, employs 60 staff and is assisted by some 200 volunteers.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with substantial financial management experience, with the ability to work at both a strategic and operational level. For full details, see the job description and person specification below.
