President of Rotary visits NOAH

IMG_0425Luton’s Homelessness Charity, NOAH Enterprise, welcomed John Minhinick, President of Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland, last Thursday. John was accompanied by his wife Sheila, District Governor Debbie Hodge, and her successor, Gavin Plews.

In the course of their enjoyable visit, they were shown all of NOAH’s activities and introduced to staff, volunteers and service users.

In commenting on his visit John said “It was a privilege to see the range of what NOAH does in supporting people who are homeless and excluded. I am delighted that Rotary Clubs in Luton and the surrounding area support this great work and I hope NOAH goes from strength to strength.”

Jim O’Connor, Chief Executive at NOAH Enterprise said “It was a pleasure to welcome John, Sheila, Debbie and Gavin and show them something of what we do. We are hugely grateful to the Rotary Clubs for their support as it enables us to deliver essential help to those among the poorest in the community.”

The latest example of that is that NOAH Enterprise has been chosen as Luton North Rotary Club’s Charity of the Year.
