Winter appeal raises over £12,000

We are thrilled to announce that our 2021 has exceeded our goal to raise £10,000 for people rough-sleeping and vulnerable this winter in Luton and Central Bedfordshire.

Thanks to the generosity of local people, the appeal raised £12,713 between the end of November 2021 and January this year.

The donations will help to fund our Welfare Centre which supports people to access a range of services, such as a daily meal, provision of clothing, shower and laundry service, a GP or on-site nurse, dentist, mental health services, addiction counselling, accommodation support, and social inclusion activities.

Paul Prosser, Head of Welfare Services said:

“On behalf of the NOAH team, I would like to thank everyone who supported our appeal. In 2021, we had 23,140 distinct visits to our Welfare Centre from local vulnerable people seeking our help. Our continued need to provide these evidently vital services would not be possible without the support of the wider community.”
