A Day of Fun and Fundraising at St. Andrews Country Fayre
On 21st September, the St. Andrews Country Fayre in Biggleswade turned out to be an unforgettable day filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit. We are thrilled to announce that the event raised over £2,500 for us at NOAH!
From 10 am to 3:30 pm, the parish church grounds buzzed with excitement. Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities, including the ever-popular bathtub race, where participants showcased their creativity and competitive spirit. The lively atmosphere was enhanced by live music, games, and opportunities to connect with friends and neighbours.
While St. Andrews Church has recently begun to strengthen its ties with charitable initiatives, we felt privileged to be chosen as the beneficiary for this occasion. This collaboration allows us to engage with the community in a meaningful way.
The day featured performances from the Biggleswade Sea Cadet Band, the Tibbs Dementia Choir, and several local dance and music groups, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. Visitors indulged in games, stalls, and delicious food, making the day a true celebration of community spirit.
Events like the St. Andrews Country Fayre highlight the strength and generosity of our local community. Every penny raised will go directly towards supporting those facing homelessness and disadvantage, ensuring that help reaches those who need it most.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support us, especially the St. Andrews Church team, for their hard work and dedication in making this event a success. Your commitment to this cause truly makes a difference!
Stay tuned for more events and ways to get involved. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact in our community!
